Woodland FFA Project

Welcome to the world of IH Collectors and our network of fellow minded IH enthusiasts.

What happens when you put a rusty 1943 Farmall A tractor in the classroom with eager FFA students?

A transformation takes place. Teacher Eric Dyer leads this FFA project and hopes to complete it within the next few weeks. This project represents our 31st Farmall/FFA project here in California.

If you'd like to support these efforts a tax deductible donation can be made to "California IH Collectors Foundation" at the address listed below.

Thanks for helping in continuing the IH legacy.

IH Collectors News

Samantha Levitt is one the Wheatland HS FFA students led by teacher Jeff Magill. Samantha is our first female student who has taken on the project of restoring a 1974 International Harvester Cub Cadet garden tractor.

California IH Collectors Foundation, launched by IH Collectors CH 14 Inc, has assisted a number of west coast high schools with donated tractors, new tires, and funding all in order to make these FFA tractor stories a resounding success.

The tractor was received from an Oregon donor by the foundation and delivered to the school in November 2014, where upon Samantha Levitt as a junior student of Wheatland High School began restoring this classic IH garden tractor. Today this project is complete and we are so proud of Samantha's efforts.

Besides a student in FFA, Samantha is

  • FFA school reporter

  • High school band member

  • State FFA band member

  • and will shortly become a pre-med student at Oklahoma City University

Thanks to Jeff Magill for a stellar FFA program in Wheatland, CA.

PS. First two pictures were when the tractor arrived, work being performed, and lastly Samantha Levitt with her finished tractor

Thanks for helping in continuing the IH legacy.
