Farmall-Land USA's Jerry Mez's Oral History

Jerry Mez explains how after retiring from his Case IH dealership in 2008 he began collecting tractors, and now runs the 26,500 sq. ft. Farmall-Land USA tractor museum in Avoca, Iowa. Jerry and his wife Joyce currently display over 220 IH tractors, plus pedal tractors, toys, IH refrigerators, literature and memorabilia, and his collection includes many rare and unique items. He also explains the invention of the "Tractor Widow's Lounge."

This oral history was shared at the Red Power Roundup in Union Grove, Wisconsin on June 18, 2016. Jerry was interviewed by Sally Jacobs, archivist for the International Harvester Collection at the Wisconsin Historical Society.
